  • Account Information — Your Apple ID identifier used for authentication and subscription management.
  • Conversation Data — Voice and text conversations you have with the AI, stored to provide conversation history.
  • Vocabulary Data — Words and phrases saved during your conversations, along with flashcard review progress.
  • Usage Analytics — Anonymous usage data such as session duration, features used, and language selections to help us improve the app.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and personalize the language learning experience.
  • Maintain your conversation history and vocabulary lists.
  • Process and manage your subscription.
  • Improve the app and develop new features.
  • Provide customer support.

Third-Party Services

Talkguru relies on the following third-party services:

  • Firebase / Google Cloud — For authentication, data storage (Firestore), and hosting. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • OpenAI / Google AI — Conversation data is sent to AI providers to generate responses. Subject to their respective privacy policies.
  • Apple — For Sign in with Apple authentication and In-App Purchase processing. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase/Google Cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete your account — You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app's profile settings.
  • Export your data — You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.
  • Opt out of analytics — You can disable analytics collection in the app settings.

Children's Privacy

Talkguru is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.
